terms and conditions

Enrolments at Holamigos are for a full term, typically 8 weeks.

If you need to cancel your booking prior to the commencement of the term, we will give you a full refund of your payment minus a $30 cancellation fee. However, no refunds are paid for cancellations once the term has commenced.

Pricing includes the materials for arts & crafts, as well as a booklet of all the songs we will be learning for you to take home. The booklet is included when you enrol your child in a full-term paying full fees; alternatively, if you choose to attend stand-alone lessons rather than the whole course, the booklet is available at a separate cost.

If you miss a session, you are able to recuperate the class, provided there is one available running in the same term. The make-up session must be arranged for either the same week or the week after the missed class.

For the single class purchase, unfortunately, there is no refund or rescheduling option available in case you cannot attend the session on the day.

Every child needs to be accompanied by an adult at all times during the lessons. Siblings under one can come for free, and siblings over one may attend at a discounted rate of 50% of the normal price.  If you occasionally need to bring a sibling, please just send an email to let me know about it.

Class duration is 45 minutes.

Group sizes are limited to 9 children at this stage, and classes are specifically made for children aged 1 to 4 years old. In my experience children within that age range would benefit the most from the classes, but if your child is slightly younger or older and would like to attend, we can discuss what the options are for them.

In the interest of protecting children with serious allergies, and also to limit distractions during class time, all of our classes have a strict no-food-or-drink policy. We thank you for your understanding.

Parents are able to photograph, film or make audio recordings of their own child during the lessons, providing this does not interrupt the learning environment. Photos, videos or audios containing other students must not be uploaded to the internet or social media, as this is releasing personal information, which is illegal. These sites include but are not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

Finally, we encourage you to actively participate during the activities of the class, as role modeling from parents is a wonderful aid in the learning process. Also, if you notice that on some occasions your child is distracted or restless, it is a good idea to let them be (as long as they are safe), rather than trying to restrain them. Eventually, they will notice that the attention is on the activity we are performing as a group and will come back.

Covid-19 update:

It is important that all parents and family members practice social distancing as much as possible during entry, while in class, and after the sessions. As there is more than one class happening in the building you are required to arrive and leave the room as quickly as possible to avoid conglomerations. At this point, no one is required to wear a mask during the class.

Everyone entering the classroom will have their temperature checked with a contactless thermometer and be asked to use hand sanitiser (provided) before entering. Please note that anyone displaying signs of illness or with a temperature of 37.7 or above will not be allowed in the classroom and will be politely sent home.

If government-imposed restrictions require us to stop face-to-face classes, classes will be held online, and in this case refunds or credits will not be available.

These practices are in place with your family’s best interests at heart and your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.

Looking forward to having some bilingual fun with you!
