terms and conditions

Enrolment.
Enrolments at Holamigos are for a full term, typically 8 weeks.

If you need to cancel your booking prior to the commencement of the term, you will receive a full refund of your payment minus a $30 cancellation fee. However, no refunds are paid for cancellations once the term has commenced.

Class
Each class has a duration of 45 minutes.
Every child needs to be accompanied by an adult at all times during the lessons.

Group sizes are limited to 10 children at this stage, with the occasional attendance of an extra child doing trial or make-up classes;

Classes are specifically made for children aged 1 to 4 years old because early exposure is a critical pillar of the program. Your child must be 3 years old or younger when first enrolled in class and they can stay up until they turn 5. This is to ensure they can have enough exposure to the language before leaving the program.

Discounts
Siblings under one can come for free, and siblings over one will attract a discount of 50aud off out of the current enrolment rate.  If you occasionally need to bring a sibling, please just send an email to let me know about it.

If you miss a session I am happy to offer you one make-up class per term that will need to be organised within the times available for that particular term.

Class Etiquette
In the interest of protecting children with serious allergies, and also to limit distractions during class time, all of our classes have a strict no-food-or-drink policy. Also, ideally, no toys should be brought inside the class as they are a big distraction for the children. Thank you for your understanding.

Parents are able to photograph, film, or make audio recordings of their own children during the lessons, provided this does not interrupt the learning environment. Photos or videos containing other students must not be uploaded to the internet or social media, as this is releasing personal information, which is illegal. These sites include but are not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

Finally, I encourage you to actively participate during the activities of the class, as role modeling from parents is a wonderful aid in the learning process. If children see you are involved they are much more likely to get involved too. Also, if you notice that on some occasions your child is distracted or restless, it is a good idea to let them be (as long as they are safe), rather than trying to restrain them. Eventually, they will notice that the attention is on the activity we are performing as a group and will come back.

Looking forward to having some bilingual fun with you!
